Hasanabad wins over hurdles at Southwell

Hasanabad made a successful start to his National Hunt career by winning the Maiden Hurdle at Southwell under Brian Hughes.

Making all the running, his hurdling wasn’t perfect with his biggest error coming at the third last.

However, he was always in control and stayed on strongly from two out to win by seven and a half lengths.
