Green Team defied top weight to complete a quick double at Wolverhampton, backing up his success nine days ago by winning over 14f under Billy Loughnane.
Patiently ridden in mid-div until the final 2f, Billy didn’t ask for everything until just inside the final furlong.
Responding generously to pressure, Green Team battled on bravely to prevail by a short-head at the line.
He survived the subsequent Stewards’ Enquiry.
