Fredo recorded his seventh career win and his third over fences with a comfortable success at Huntingdon.
Great for the team to post a third win in three days, following on from Ferryview Place on Friday and Bobcatbilly at Doncaster yesterday.
Jacky Allen has been a very loyal supporter of the yard, and it was lovely for he to see AP steer Fredo to just his second win since February 2011.
Fredo had run a better race under AP at Doncaster in January and today he kept things simple, making the most of Fredo’s natural, free-flowing jumping.
Quite rightly, many thousands of words have been written already about AP, and may thousands more will follow in the weeks ahead, but today epitomized what makes him so good. On a quiet Sunday fixture, just nine days away from his final Cheltenham Festival, AP still treats every ride with unfailing professionalism – he will impossible to replace.
