Finn Russell made his first start for new owners, Gigabit and Sales Rental Ltd, a winning one by taking the 7.30pm at Wolverhampton under Charlie Bishop.
Always well placed in behind the pace on the rail, Charlie switched to challenge around 2f out and stayed on well to hold the favourite by a short-head.
This was his 4th all-weather win and his 3rd at Wolverhampton.
