Dr Doro has been off the track for nearly year, but off a low mark of 58 and with cheekpieces on for the first time, she won for the first time since landing a Curragh nursery in 2015 by getting in front at Ayr under PJ McDonald.
Under a strong drive from PJ, she showed plenty of courage to stay on under pressure to win by a neck.
