C’Mon Kenny for Ne-Chance Racing got his old bold grey head in front under an astute ride from Ben Curtis over 2m at Kempton.
This half length win from Cool Party was the 4th of his 16 race career, which started with a win in a Ludlow Bumper in 2021.
This evening Kenny was last out of the stalls, last for most of the race – indeed with just over a furlong to run, he’d yet to pass a rival.
But Ben had him rolling on the outside and he passed the field in less than 200 yards to get up with five strides to run.
