Champagne Marengo wins at Catterick under Ben Curtis

Champagne Marengo backed up his good run at Redcar at the end of May by stepping up to two miles to get off the mark at Catterick under Ben Curtis.

He chased down the long time leader Victoriano in the home straight before holding the late challenge of Platform Nineteen by a length and a quarter.

The win completed a double on the day at Catterick and a treble when taking into account our winner in France!
