Champagne City for his owner/breeder Roger Brookhouse made all the running to win at Salisbury under Kieran O’Neill to complete a double on the day for the owner and trainer!
The veteran 9yr old never saw another rival and came home two and a quarter lengths clear of the odds on favourite, Nova Legend.
This was a first success on the flat since winning over a mile at Ripon in 2015 and came on just his second run for the yard.
