Banditry took his career earnings to over £100,000 with his first win over hurdles at Southwell under Tom O’Brien.
Already proven as a useful handicapper on the flat – six wins and an official mark of 96, Banditry showed promise in runs over hurdles at Ascot, Aintree, and Worcester last month.
Held up by Tom, Banditry jumped and travelled well in the race.
After joining issue going to the last, a fine leap sealed the deal and he stayed on well to win by just under three lengths.
