One of the highlights of Racing Staff Week are the Stable Staff Races which give stable staff the opportunity to experience a race day from the perspective of a jockey, by riding in a race, whilst raising vital funds for Racing Welfare.

Our very own Nancy Macdonald is going to ride Al Shabab in the race at Newbury on Tuesday 24th June.

The stable staff races are key fundraising events for Racing Welfare and play an important role in enabling RW to provide the wide range of support and services to racing’s people.

We are all big supporters of Racing Welfare, and have consistently done what we can to help as their work is increasingly important.

Nancy has been working hard to get herself race-ready and recently had a session with the NHC Roving Tutor, Lyndsey Bull – click here to watch her video.

If you can, please not only help Nancy reach her target and give her extra motivation for her ride at Newbury this week, but help make a difference to supporting the wider racing community – click here to donate.

Thank you.
