We were delighted that Rupert Pritchard-Gordon was able to secure Dandy Style for us at the recent Arqana Summer Sale. This recently gelded three-year-old son of Dandy Man is a strong, athletic, good-moving horse who was last seen winning over seven furlongs at Longchamp and currently boasts an official rating in excess of 100.

A winner of four races, he came highly recommended by both his current and former trainers, and we were equally pleased that he passed his pre-sale veterinary examination with flying colours. Having now been gelded, we feel there is every reason to believe there is further improvement to come, as the progeny of Dandy Man often take another step forward after the procedure.

We see him as an exciting prospect for the lucrative winter racing programmes in Dubai and Bahrain, where his profile and rating should allow him to be very competitive. In contrast to some of the prices paid at the recent July Sale at Newmarket, we felt he represented excellent value at 85,000 guineas.

He has settled in extremely well since arriving at the yard and already looks very much at home. We are looking forward to getting to know him over the coming weeks and are hopeful that he can provide his owners with plenty of exciting days on the international stage.
