The Angel King

4 year old, grey gelding

Bought at the Arqana February Sale at Deauville.

Unraced at 2, The Angel King ran 2nd on debut over a mile at Lyon-Parilly in March. Given time to mature and after being gelded, the grey by Dark Angel returned to the track in early July over 7f at Dieppe.

He put up his career best when defying top weight at ParisLongchamp in October.

The Angel King is by Dark Angel out of the Galileo mare, Khaleesy who won a Listed race over 10f.

He has the potential to improve in 2026, has already got a serious piece of form in the book and should prove himself a competitive  Saturday/Festival runner this summer with plenty of overseas opportunities later in the year.
