East Asia was a massive success story for the yard in 2021/22.

He came to us a 14 race maiden from Mahmood Hussain in Dubai and was owned by Sayed Hashish.

After winning on his UK debut at Newbury off an official mark of 70, he completed a quick hat-trick and by the time he returned to Dubai in early 2022, he was rated 90.

Stepping up in class, he ran 2nd in a Group 3 at Meydan, but running in the Dubai Gold Cup when his mark was 102!

Current owner Cheyenne Ennis takes up the story of East Asia and his new life …

Hello there!

It’s been a year since East Asia has become my horse and I just thought it would be nice to update you on how he has been getting on!

East Asia has been a horse of a lifetime to me. He is so brave and has taken everything into his stride! Asia seems to be a serious jumper taking everything into his stride!

He’s been out on the hunting field proving no jump is too big. Along with showjumping in currently 80cm and 90cm! I have big ideas for him!
